In recent years, paper drums have been increasingly used in markets such as welding wire, electrical wires, food, and asphalt. Especially in the application of specialty chemicals, food, and asphalt markets, due to the need for a special material inner film on the inner wall of the paper barrel, domestic manufacturers with mature production technology.
Paper drums can be divided into three levels according to their different uses. The first level drums are used for export and transportation packaging of valuable items, the second level drums are mainly used for transportation packaging of domestic products, and the third level drums are mainly used for transportation packaging of short distance and cheap goods.
2. Production process

3 Quality requirements

3. The quality requirements for paper buckets are as follows:
For paper drums used for export product packaging, the quality should meet the requirements of SN/T0270-93 "Inspection Regulations for Export Commodity Transport Packaging Cardboard Drums", and the appearance should meet the following requirements:
1. The paper bucket should be round and free from obvious defects such as roundness, concavity, skewness, deformation, etc.
2. The barrel body is smooth without mechanical damage, wrinkles, or glue peeling. The waterproof paint is evenly applied without any omissions, bubbles, or obvious sagging.
3. Round rolled edges with smooth and paperless tongue.
4. The barrel hoop should be welded firmly and smoothly, without burning through or virtual welding, and without obvious rust, peeling, or cracking.
5. The closure is firmly connected and can be opened flexibly. After closure, the lid and bottom of the barrel are well sealed.
6. Galvanized or painted barrel clamps and closures should be shiny and free from detachment.
When printing graphics on the barrel, they should be clear, uniform, firmly attached, and free of ink running.
8. The inside and outside of the paper bucket are clean and free of oil stains.
4. Product specifications and standards
Specifications:
Small caliber paper drum diameter: 30, 35, 37, 38, 40, 42, 44 CM, generally any height (less than 75CM)

With the deepening of China's opening-up policy, more and more goods are exported overseas, and paper drums, as packaging materials, have also realized their own value as goods float across the sea. However, during transportation, there is also a problem of leakage from paper drums, which is the most serious quality issue for paper drums and must cause significant damage to the enterprise.fibre drum The leakage is mainly caused by the heavy load and deformation of the paper drum itself during use or transportation, resulting in the detachment of the drum body from the bottom. This is mainly manifested in the detachment of the connection between the bottom of the paper drum and the plywood or cardboard, causing the leakage of items. The main reason is that there are still some problems in the production process, one of which is material issues. The plywood used has an impact on product quality because when plywood is used as the material for the bottom cover of the paper drum, the selected plywood has uneven thickness, and most of the thickness does not meet the requirements. In addition, the adhesive strength between plywood layers is low, which makes it easy to detach from the barrel body. The tolerance of plywood cutting dimensions cannot be accurately controlled. Therefore, in the selection of raw materials, plywood materials that meet the standards should be selected, and the cutting dimensions should be strictly controlled within the tolerance range and quality monitoring should be carried out. The thickness of plywood should be determined based on the maximum weight of the contents of the paper drum. When the weight of the contents of the paper drum is around 50 kilograms, the thickness of plywood should not be less than 6 millimeters. The second issue is the production equipment for paper barrels. The connection between the barrel body and the barrel bottom in the production process of paper barrels mainly relies on the bottom sealing forming process. Therefore, the operation of the equipment for forming and sealing the bottom will affect the overall quality of the paper barrel. The size changes of each part of the bottom sealing mold should be regularly checked for the operation of the equipment, because when the mold closes the bottom of the paper barrel, the vertical plane of the locking ring mold is prone to deviation, causing fibre drum The tightness of the bottom joint varies, which affects the degree of fit between the bucket bottom and the bucket body.
