Production requirements and technical specifications for environmentally friendly paper drums
1、Material selection criteria
Substrate requirements: Use 100% renewable wood pulp or bamboo pulp cardboard, comply with FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification standards, and prohibit the use of chlorine bleach.
Auxiliary materials: water-based environmentally friendly ink printing, adhesive needs to pass the EU EN 13432 composting and degradation certification, metal accessories need to be detachable and recyclable.
Lining treatment: Food grade contact requires the use of PLA (polylactic acid) film or silicone coating to replace traditional polyethylene plastic.
2、Production process specifications
Molding process: Adopting integrated molding technology to reduce the production of scraps, the waste recycling rate needs to reach over 95%.
Energy consumption control: Production equipment should be equipped with a heat recovery system, and the energy consumption per unit product should not exceed 0.8 kWh/kg.
Printing process: Using flexographic printing technology, the VOC emissions must be less than 50mg/m ³, in compliance with GB 38507-2020 standard.
3、Performance and quality indicators
Physical strength: Vertical compressive strength ≥ 800N (standard bucket with a diameter of 20cm), passing three drop tests at a height of 1.2m without rupture.
Moisture resistance: Under a humidity of 90% for 48 hours, the deformation rate is less than 3%.
Safety certification: It is required to pass FDA and LFGB food contact material testing, with a heavy metal migration of less than 0.01mg/dm ².
4、Environmental compliance requirements
Life cycle assessment: Provide a full lifecycle carbon footprint report, with each paper bucket emitting no more than 200g CO ₂ equivalent of carbon.
End of pipe treatment: The product must be clearly labeled with the "household compostable" or "industrial grade degradable" label, and the natural degradation rate must reach over 90% within 6 months.
Supply chain traceability: Establish a raw material traceability system to ensure that the source of each batch of pulp can be traced.
